We celebrated three months post-transplant by a ceremonial send-off to dialysis supplies from Baxter, Inc. It was a grand farewell to the chapter of peritoneal dialysis!
Jess is back to work, and Mom is adding to her list of “now I can…”. The wound vac is still Mom’s companion, but its days are numbered. Her nightly post-transplant meds are fitting more neatly into her palm as dosage continues to decrease.
Our story continues to slowly unfold, but hope springs and progress is made every week!
